SKILLED NURSING
We have qualified pediatric RNs who manage medications and offer central venous access device care, mechanical ventilator management, enteral tube feedings, tracheostomy care, indwelling urinary catheter, oxygen therapy, care for wounds, and ostomy. Nurses give instant attention to evade an Emergency Department (ED) appointment or hospitalization. Every child has an individual care plan tailored to meet their nursing and therapeutic wants.
PHYSICAL THERAPY
The physical therapy we conduct aids our little ones in achieving their full capacity. We pursue that they progressively reach their functional individuality. We also take care of presenting to parents how to proceed with therapy at home to reinforce the program developed for them at our center.
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Our Occupational Therapists assist our children in implementing fine motor harmonization, enhancing cognitive development, progress posture, upper body strength, eating, grooming, and other sensory dispensation skills.
ART THERAPY
At our PPEC facility, we provide Art Therapy to help children with medically complex conditions. In individualized sessions, children are guided to express themselves and explore their emotions through different creative activities such as painting, drawing, and sculpting. These artistic exercises not only support the development of fine motor skills and cognitive abilities but also promote emotional well-being. Art Therapy offers a safe and supportive environment for children to process their feelings, relieve stress, and build self-esteem while fostering overall growth and creativity
SPEECH THERAPY
Our speech therapy helps our children boost their oral motor skills, thus allowing them to reinforce the muscles used in speaking, eating, chewing, sucking, and swallowing. In older children, it aids them to boost grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation of words. Minors must also learn to eat competently by integrating novel foods into their regular diet.
Respiratory Therapy
Our respiratory remedy helps your child boost their breathing ability. We perform respiratory examinations, oxygen tracking, administration of oxygen, nebulizer remedies, Chest Physical Therapy (CPT), suctioning, postural drainage, and tracheostomy upkeep.
Music Therapy
At our PPEC facility, we provide Music Therapy to help children with medically complex conditions improve their emotional, cognitive, and physical well-being. Tailored sessions promote self-expression, communication, relaxation, and development through activities like singing, instrument play, rhythmic exercises, and listening to music. These activities are designed to support each child’s individual needs, encouraging growth while making the therapeutic experience both enjoyable and engaging.
Field Trips
Abby Pediatric Care offers recreational events in a fun and vigorous setting to improve your child’s mental, intellectual, physical, and social development. We also have trips on Saturdays and visits to eateries, seashores, parks, and more!.
Afterschool Program
As part of our package, we provide academic and entertaining programs for kids after school.
Billingual Staff
We have a bilingual staff who can communicate in both English and Spanish, making it easier for families to feel comfortable and understood. We ensure that all parents and caregivers receive the information and support they need throughout their child’s care, creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for families from different backgrounds
Medical Transportation
We offer transportation services to kids qualified for Medicaid. The children are either picked up at school or home and taken back to their residences as per the previous organization of the timetable with the parents. We also ensure that the support staff accompanies the younger children.
